Trips

The Hemel Hempstead School aims to provide its students with opportunities for personal and educational enrichment through a varied programme of residential and day trips. These trips support the curriculum and try to encompass most departments.

All students benefit from numerous day trips; ranging from Harry Potter World and Warwick Castle in Years 7 and 8 to subject based museum and theatre trips further up the school. We have a rich history of Duke of Edinburgh participation with expeditions to locations such as the Brecon Beacons and the Peak District.

Some of our residential trips are required curriculum based activities such as the Geography Field Trip, most recently to Preston Montford, whilst others are designed to support the curriculum in a broader sense, for example our Physics trip to CERN.

Below is a list of day trips that have run in the last few years. We have included the month and approximate cost to aid parents/carers with making financial plans and provisions.
