Addressing your concerns

We seek to provide the very best service to all of our students, parents and the wider community.  We also recognise that like any large, complex organisation we can always get better.

If you have concerns then we have a clear process so that you can get the support that you need.

  1.  In the first instance, we encourage you to contact your child’s form tutor, their head of year or a subject teacher to discuss any specific concern you may have.  The vast majority of concerns can be quickly and satisfactorily resolved this way.
  2. If your concern relates specifically to a child with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities then please contact Mrs K Beverstock, our SENDCo.
  3. If you have concerns about the safety or welfare of any child please do not hesitate to speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr T Jordan.
  4. If you do not feel that your concerns have been resolved then please do not hesitate to contact the PA to the Headteacher, Mrs E Smith.

All of these can be contacted by telephoning 01442 390 100 or by emailing admin@hhs.herts.sch.uk

Should the need arise and the above steps have not addressed your concerns, we have a formal complaints procedure, the details of which can be found by following this hyperlink to our policies page and looking for ‘Addressing your concerns’
